Paola always thought that volunteering meant showing up somewhere every week. With her unpredictable schedule, that seemed impossible. Until she discovered that it could be done on a small scale. Playing a game of Rummikub every now and then at the community center next to her house. No big projects, no fixed commitments. Just whenever it suits her. And it’s precisely that one hour that makes a big difference to someone else.
