Abdullah Alharbali
Abdullah Alharbali is an ICT specialist at the Ministry of Defense. His roots are in Syria. As a student, he was on his way to visit his parents with his just completed university degree when the bus he was on was shot at. One of the bullets caused damage to his back, leaving him unable to walk. Abdullah shows you that despite such a big setback you can achieve a lot in life: a good job, a great love and a beautiful child.
On the route on Nieuwe Binnenweg and Schiedamseweg, Abdullah knows all the Syrian entrepreneurs. With the arrival of Syrian refugees, Rotterdam has gained quite a few restaurants, bakers, painters and candy stores!
